CakeLove bakes tiered wedding cakes for couples who want an excellent cake without the fuss. Our homemade, simple style lets the beauty of the ceremony take center stage. Choose your favorite CakeLove cake and create the cake of your dreams. We offer two sizes of 3-tiered cakes. Our 70 serving cake is made from one 12", one 9" and one 6" cake. We also offer a 120 serving cake consisting of one 14", one 12" and one 9" cake.
Price ranges:
$5.50 per person - Choc or Vanilla cake with Vanilla or Chocolate buttercream
$6.50 per person - Strawberries & Cream, Susie's a Pink Lady, Lemon Swirl
$7.50 per person - Toffee Crunch, My Downfall or Neil's Hat Trick
If you have a special request, please do not hesitate to ask us. We'll be happy to try and create a one of a kind cake for your special day.
If you anticipate having more guests than can be served from the tiered cake you choose, CakeLove will provide additional cakes for your wedding catering staff to slice behind the scenes. Prices for these additional cakes are taken from the cake menu page.

Wedding Cake Services Terms
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 guarantees your cake.
- Full payment is due 14 days prior to the event date.
- Refunds are limited to store credit.
Delivery
Wedding cake deliveries are limited to the Washington DC and Baltimore MD metro areas. Check pricing and delivery range by clicking here.
Pick-up
Our staff will pack and load your wedding cake if you desire. Please use a vehicle with a flat bottom such as a SUV, van or hatch-back/wagon. A lot of people elect this option.
Set-up
On site set-up is not available. Please notify your caterer of cupcake set-up.
Tiered cake set-up not required on site because our cakes are fully assembled in the bakery.
Cake Stand Rental Policy
- Cake stands and cupcake tree rental fees: $45 per 24 hours.
- There is a 30 minute grace period before a second daily rental charge is applied.
- Stand rental is subject to availability.
- Prices are subject to change without notice.
Register for tasting events
CakeLove offers tasting and information sessions at many of it's DC, Maryland and Virgina locations. The 60 minute sessions are limited to participants who pre-register. Please call to sign-up.

Anniversary Wedding Cake
Year-old cake can be delicious! It’s true. You can store your wedding cake’s top tier (or any slice) and serve it safely for your one-year anniversary. Many people wonder how this is possible. Follow these simple directions:
- After the wedding reception is over, place the top tier of your wedding cake in the fridge overnight.
- The following day, tightly wrap two layers of plastic wrap around it. Then place it in a Ziploc bag, label it, and put it in the freezer.
- Enjoy the first year of marriage.
- A day before the anniversary date, take the cake package from the freezer and place in the fridge to thaw.
- The following day, unwrap the cake and place on the counter. Allow 2-4 hours for the cake to come to room temperature.
- Enjoy!
